For four days–August 24 – 27, 2017– fierce ERA advocates from across the country are coming together in our Nation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Capitol to celebrate and work together to finish the business of making the ERA the 28th Amendment.. ERA champion Nevada Senator Patricia Spearman<\/a>, who led her state to becoming the 36th to ratify the ERA, will be joining us in DC.<\/p>\n

Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday, August 24<\/strong>: Screening of the award winning documentary, Equal Means Equal.<\/a><\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

Friday, August 25<\/strong>: \u00c2\u00a0Press Conference and meetings on The Hill to move forward S.J. Res 5 <\/a>and H.J. Res 53<\/a>, joint resolutions: removing the deadline for the ratification of the equal rights amendment. An online \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Thunderclap\u00e2\u20ac\u009d action–U.S. Congress: Hear Us Now!<\/a> will coincide. In unison, hundreds of ERA Advocates\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 social media accounts will post and phone calls demanding hearings on this vital legislation will be made. With the evening ending with a performance of 24 Words, the musical<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Saturday, August 26<\/strong>: A prayer service, march to the National Mall where we will rally and hear amazing speakers to inspire us to take our efforts up a notch. And a second performance of 24 Words: The Equal Rights Musical. <\/a><\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

Sunday, August 27:<\/strong> Speaker Panel and Equal Means Equal <\/em>Teach-In<\/a>.<\/p>\n
