The ERA is essential to enshrine equality in the U.S. Constitution, ensuring that all individuals are protected from discrimination on the basis of sex.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Despite its introduction in 1923 and passage by Congress in 1972, the ERA has yet to be fully ratified and added to the Constitution. With the necessary 38 state ratifications achieved, we urge swift action to remove any remaining barriers and formalize this critical amendment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We ask the White House to champion this cause, advocating for equality and justice by pressing Congress to act without delay.
